Brought to you by Impact Jiu Jitsu @ Industrial Strength and Datsusara, we are ecstatic to be hosting the one and only Dr. Mark Cheng for a custom workshop specifically tailored towards keeping your joints healthy while training Jiu Jitsu.
The best way to get better at Jiu Jitsu is to spend more time on the mat - and in order to spend more time on the mat you need to take care of your body so that you're healthy enough to train the way you want to train.
This is a one-of-a-kind, can't-miss event for any Jiu Jitsu practitioner wanting to have the self-care tools at their disposal to stay on the mats year in and year out. This will be tailored especially for the BJJ athlete - going as specific as finger/hand self-care.
The agenda is:
Day 1 = Self-care for the neck and lower back (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
Day 2 = Self-care for the shoulders, knees, fingers & hands (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
The reality of training Jiu Jitsu is that eventually you will get an injury - there is no way around it. None of us want to go running to the doctor every time you get a small tweak, so come learn how to do some preventative care to minimize your risks, and some self-care techniques for when the inevitable does happen.
Sign up by the end of January to get the lowest price of $65 for one day or $120 for both days. We are expecting this event to sell out, so reserve your spot soon!
